Greetings from Nashville, TN and welcome to the new Wild Plate blog spot!
Spring is officially here and the daffodils, tulips, and dandelions are sprouting up everywhere. The trees are shaking off their pollens in the wind and the air is full of life. I love spring especially in the south. The humidity hasn't kicked in and the bugs have not yet awakened from the cold dark winter. The temperatures are in the mid 70's and I spend each morning sipping Yerba Mate on the porch as I gather my thoughts and prepare for the day.
It's hard to believe we are already 4 months into 2016. So far, it's been a big year of travel and change. I've been learning a lot of lessons in adaptability and rolling with whatever comes my way with an open heart and open mind. Anyone else experiencing a lot of change in this new year?
This last week has been my first full week in our new home since moving in at the end of January and I'm taking full advantage of getting organized and scratching things off that mile long list. Anyone else get great satisfaction being able to take a pen and scratch off those words or hit delete on their lists? Anyways, one of the many tasks on that list was designing this new website for Wild Plate. I've been wanting to change up my site for a while now to create a more user friendly experience for customers and pages that were fresh, crisp, clean, AND dedicate more time to writing blog posts and making new recipes to share with you all. The store will also be expanding over time offering some of my vegan favorite products for purchase along with up to date book signings and events.
Speaking of books! I am almost sold out of first edition hard copies of Wild Plate so get them before they're gone. I have decided not to go into re-print at the moment and focus on doing an e-book version instead. If you already have one, woohoo! Thank you so much for your support. If you don't have a copy and would like to order one click here.
In other news, you may have noticed that I am finally doing a round of vegan + raw chocolate bars and bites!! Because the bars are so labor intensive to make and I am a one man show, I can only make so many and maintain my sanity… haha! There is a limited supply so order now before they disappear.
Ok I've blabbed on long enough. Thank you kindly for visiting Wild Plate and I do hope you'll return for some fun and inspiring plant-based recipes, travel stories, and shopping for all things Wild. Enjoy this beautiful day!
