ABOUT

I was born and raised in the wild woods of Pacific Northwest. I am an artist with an intense passion for all things healthy, sustainable, and delicious. I have always been driven to create art, and food just so happens to be my current primary medium.

I first came to plant-based food during my decade-long career as a professional dancer. During that time, I came to recognize firsthand the deep connection between nutrition and physical well-being. Performing six nights per week demands a high level of physical endurance, and I found that eating a plant-based diet gave me the stamina and quick recovery that I needed to deliver consistently.

I eventually went back to school and obtained a degree in interior architecture and design. Design school taught me to be more mindful of my environment, and it was during this time that I reinforced my commitment to living a more sustainable life. Eating a local vegetarian diet with an emphasis on raw foods quickly became my number one passion.

I soon turned my love of raw food into a career, and now have over a decade of experience in plant-based culinary arts under my belt. I am honored to have a long list of happy clients from personal chef work and catering for large events, to speaking engagements, restaurant consultation, food photography/styling, cookbook design, and recipe development.

I moved to Nashville, TN three years ago with my husband and although I am still figuring out my way around the city, I love having the opportunity to call this place my home. It's a city bustling with movement and change with a creative energy that is contagious. I am a hot yoga addict and on a constant quest for the best chai latte in the all the land. Currently, The Post in east Nashville has my heart and tastebuds. If I'm not sipping chai with friends at a local coffee shop, you'll find me planning my next adventure, lost somewhere in nature recharging my batteries, at a music event or plotting my next business venture (I do this a lot).  I currently work as a graphic designer, cookbook designer, food stylist and photographer, and last but not least a recipe developer for various clients and companies all over the country. I love my job and feel so grateful for each day on this beautiful planet.
